The very first Star Wars was in and several of my friends and I decided to catch it on opening night. One thing I remember about those days is that even though we thought of the theater as crowded, it was nothing compared to what we deal with these days. As a matter of fact the same thing holds true for traffic! We didn't start having traffic jams in my home town until a few years back. All this in the face of a declining population! Anywho there was a long long line to get into the movie and a longer line to get popcorn sodas and such. Figuring that the line itself might take an hour and in need of sustenance my friends and I got in line and patiently waited our turn. As a matter of fact my one friend Dan who was what we would refer to now as a "nerd" didn't say a word for a whole hour. Now you have to remember this was the 70's, and well Dan was a rather intense individual and I can't speak for his being under or not under the influence of something, but I have my suspicions. We finally got served and it was now Dan's turn. The lady politely asked him what he would like. Dan looked up from his near coma and looking shocked, smiled and said...
