You would get about 8000 one month servings out of that kilogram and you would make at least 1 million dollars from it. You would not however be able to say it treats Alzheimer's disease. Only Jansen can say that since they own the "use patent" on Mother Nature! I suspect Jansen, the company that sells Reminyl gets the raw material for a lot less than $8000/kg because they buy in bulk. I would expect their ultimate profit margin to be in the several thousand % range! This would be in keeping with the profit margins we've seen for other drugs in the past.
