Ten things to remember about fat loss...
Where I live it does not feel like summer every day just yet. But there is no mistaking it’s coming and coming fast. I hope you will not be one of those people I see every summer. You know the ones who wear clothes they “shouldn’t” and leave an indelible impression and not a good one.
Here are some tips to help you avoid being a visual nightmare.
1) Don’t cut out sleep. A recent small study added 1 to 1.5 hours of regular sleep for 10 weeks to the study subjects. Average weight loss was 10 pounds in 8 weeks which rivals any diet for weight loss.
There are a ton of reasons not to skimp on sleep. This one, fat loss, is the visual nightmare part. But the real nightmare is the numbers of tragic accidents sleep deprivation causes. If you need all natural help, you should look into my all natural supplement Sleep Wizard.
2) Healthy food should be eaten first during meal prep or as “salads”. Since it is summer all kinds of amazingly fresh produce is available. Blackberries, sour cherries, and of course the organic vegetables. Try munching on them as a “salad course” or if you’re the chef, during food prep. It will make you far less likely to overeat at the table and you’ll get your green, blues, reds, etc!!!
3) Add berries to your protein. I will often substitute a meal or snack or even dessert with a “berry smoothie” made with my delicious Private Reserve Protein Powder. At a little nut butter, some ice and a handful of berries and you are still in the calorie restricted zone and squashing your sweet tooth!
4) Supplements and drugs for weight loss. Alli makes you lose control - and not of your appetite! Other drugs cause habituation and even rebound weight gain and other side effects. 6) “All exercises are created equal for fat loss.” NOT!!!!

7) You need to lift weights and build muscle to lose fat.
Ok, this one is kinda true but the thing they forget to tell you is that 5 pounds of muscle burns about 100 extra calories a week. So that is true. Next, they tell you the average person can gain 5 pounds of muscle every 3 months. I seriously doubt that unless they are “enhancing” their metabolism with HGH and anabolics on a regular basis.

You’ll build muscle but you’ll also burn more fat bay far than pure weight lifting as your heart rate goes up. Nothing against weight lifting; I still do it regularly but not for the purpose of burning fat!!!
8) Cardio is a great way to burn fat because you are in the fat burning zone. Well, you’re always in the fat burning zone except when you do super intense exercise that leaves you breathless. Most won’t. Cardio still has a place when combined with other types of exercise including weight lifting. But don’t count on it for much more than the calories you burn while you exercise.
It does little to raise your metabolism after that.
9) “My genetics make me fat.” No, your habits make you fat. Your genetics make it harder or easier for you to lose weight. If you wanted to save a thousand dollars it would be easier on a salary of 100K than 30K but you could still do it.

10) “Supplements don’t work for fat loss.” Nonsense, I am living proof that they do.
