Ok here are a few updates from anti-aging land as they relate to exercise and nutrition.
1) Using protein and a little bit of carbs before exercise also helps build muscle during and immediately after exercise. Adding protein after a workout continues that trend.
How to put it into practice: Add a little apple juice or do as we are doing with our newest recovery formula, add a carb source into your Private Reserve Protein Powder and drink it before, during and after your workouts!
Tip: If you are trying to burn maximum fat, skip the carbs and just drink the Private Reserve!
2) Whey protein speeds tissue healing after exercise.
How to put it into practice: Use the tip in number 1 above!
3) Schiff Vitamins Mega Red: censored for poor advertising practices by stating Krill is 3x better than fish oil. The Council for Responsible advertising pointed out this was not substantiated by research.
Tip: since no monetary fine was leveled yet, expect this sort of thing to continue by these people and others until a penalty is accessed. As of this writing there are 15,000+ articles on fish oil in the National Health database on fish oil with more arriving every day. Most of the 400+ articles on krill are about the behavior of the species in the ocean not in the human body.
How to put it into practice: Like green lipped mussel oil, plant based fatty acids like Chia and Salba, you will see everyone trying to take a bite out of fish oil because it works so well. Stick with what works.
4) Metabolic syndrome is associated with low sex hormone levels. In addition to all the things that are directly responsible for the rapid spread of metabolic syndrome, we now know that many people with this problem have low sex hormones.
Tip: Because of the regulations on pro hormones and annoying threats from other companies claiming my product names are in competition with theirs I no longer make Sex Fuel.
