The Fish Oil Test for Heart AttackDear Friend,I am neither prophetic nor clairvoyant but sometimes I have to tell you it seems that way. Here are their exact words: Dr Albert and colleagues say checking Omega 3 levels could save lives by alerting doctors to which patients are at high risk of heart attacks and sudden cardiac death. Dr Ray Rice from the International Society for the study of Fatty Acids and Lipids said: "This work opens up the possibility of a simple blood test to identify those people at high risk from a heart attack, and brings with it a relatively simple preventative solution of increasing the Omega 3 intake to prevent an a attack. Once again I want to remind you that I've been checking these levels on patients for quite a while. I would be doing them a lot more but insurance doesn't pay for them and many people don't want to either! Also note conspicuously absent is any mention of Cholesterol levels, Homocysteine and Quant CRP the latter 2 being the darling of alternative medicine "Gurus" across the nation. The article went on to conclude that over 70% of people do not get enough Omega 3's. So here are a few more predictions for you. 1) Traditional Medicine will be forced by their own precious addition to data to accept the benefits of not only fish consumption, but Pharmaceutical Grade Fish Oil.
