Fish Oil and Breast Cancer Part 1Dear Friend,Though it is currently ranked 8th among the causes of death in women, Breast Cancer is still the most feared Cancer by women. The loss of femininity, the disfigurement and of course the chance of dying a slow horrible death with breast cancer in the bones, lungs and brain is simply terrifying. I convinced her to have a mammogram only to find out that Medicare would not pay for it in the hospital, it had to be done as an out patient. She assured me she would do this after she left the hospital. I saw her a few times after that in the next 6 months. Every time I asked her about her breast she said it was fine and said she had forgotten about the mammogram, but she would get it. I didn't see her for a while so I contacted her sister who was a patient and lived with this lady now such contact would be illegal because of the so called HIPPA laws. I would be liable for a jail term and a lawsuit. Her sister eventually got this lady to come in and show me her breast. The sore that had been the size of a quarter was now covering half of this woman's breast. It was oozing and bleeding and very unpleasant smelling!
At this point the lady became very defensive and stormed out of the office saying she would never have her breast off. I lost contact with her and every time I asked her sister about her she just shook her head and said, "She is so Stubborn!" The next time I saw this poor lady in my office, I actually smelled her long before I walked into the room.
