The Best and the Worst of YesterdayDear Friend,Yesterday was very interesting and overall a very positive experience. I consider myself an upbeat person overall but there is of course a balance of good and bad in most days Let me start with the bad, then I'll get to the good and finally tell you a somewhat humorous story. Here's the bad: As you know I had to put Regenerizer to rest... that's bad since it was a great seller and helped a lot of people. Next one or two people wrote hate mails to me stating that I was just using marketing ploys and that Regenerizer will be back on the site in a day or so. If I had my druthers, I would still have the product and still be selling it to the people who really appreciate it at the nice steady rate that we were. It really is gone until I figure out a way to deal with the ungodly raw material price increases. You will not see it back for quite some time if ever, and if I do bring it back it will be at a much higher price.
Next out of the word work came a whole host of MLM (multi level marketing) scammers trying to grab onto my lucky star for their own business use. "Dr Dave we have Co Q products we can sell to your list and they haven't gone up in months!" Sure you have inferior "me too" products that haven't gone up because they are enormously overpriced garbage with enormous profit margins so they can absorb even doubling of the price without suffering. One day in particular was especially inflammatory. She came from one of these "unfranchise" websites. MLM in a thinly veiled disguise. I told her I needed high quality raw co Q 10 to mix with my own other ingredients, not someone else products. She got pissy with me when it became apparent that I wasn't going to hand her a list of several thousand people so she could market her products. She also never heard of "raw" Co Q. And this lady was selling supplements! Absolutely clueless. Next I had some guy call me arrogant and avoidant when I didn't reveal the inner most workings of how I get and purify my Fish Oil. And I am arrogant! It actually is pretty funny how "entitled" some people feel. Complete strangers want you to hand over the keys to your business and have complete access to you without asking your permission! Sure! I must admit a certain perverse pleasure hitting the "delete" button and giving these people the exact amount of attention they deserve. Now onto the good stuff! Almost everyone who snapped up and I mean snapped up the last of Regenerizer was someone who had used it before. That tells me that it was a great product and I did some serious good things to improve people's lives! Next, there were a bevy of emails form customers who genuinely understood what it is like to lose something so great. Here are just a few of them. Dear Doc: I just returned from Memphis to find your emails. What a shock! I was about to order my two jars of Regenerizer and was soooo disappointed to read there is no more. Oh well! I've been doing so well and hoped to bring you up to date on my progress, after a regression of a few months. The new cardiologist loves the Omega 3's as he calls the fish oil. He feels Someone Up There likes me for he is amazed at my heart's beating, just four points short of normal. I'm assessing everything and with some more time, will report to the doc... Terri The way the message was presented and the fact that you DID run out, just continues to make Dr. Dave synonymous with honesty! Nice. Norman H. DR. I assure you I will be working hard to figure out what to do and how to replace this product, but I have to tell you it was just perfect for what it did and I really wonder how I can replace it. I bounded the steps and anxiously entered the building. With box cutter in hand I bypassed the packing slip and cut open the first big box eagerly anticipating the newly arrived "children". Only to find...coffee cups, hundreds of them! "I love my cat. I love my Yorkshire Terrier" and the like. I was absolutely deflated! I saw Mark our foreman cover his mouth and double over trying his hardest not to burst out laughing.
