Don't take this; you might get younger
Dear Friend,
Hormone replacement therapy remains at the center of controversy in this country. As the baby boom generation ages and looks for a way to stay younger longer there are more and more questions about the safety and results of this kind of anti-aging therapy. On the other side of the coin is the continuing abuse of these drugs in athletics and the huge volume of negative press this generates. What's the real deal and what is out there for you as you get older? Here it is: If you keep your hormone ranges in the upper ends of normal for the average 30 to 35 year old you will in many cases experience a life that is better and healthier than a person who does not. What about living longer? Since that will take several generations to prove no one can make that claim but you can look at certain measures of aging and draw your own conclusions. If you look at thinking power (cognitive skills), memory, muscle mass, body fat, sex drive, lung function, heart function and endurance all of these areas are improved in people who are mindful of their hormones versus people who are not. Now this is the point at which someone out there says, "prove it, Doc" or "I read this and that about DHEA or testosterone or estrogen", etc. So I have a link below for the skeptics among you to click to see the articles referenced for this little email I am sending you. Don't think a lot of research doesn't go into these emails! So what are your options?
